We offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers a diverse range of topics, from basic skills to advanced concepts. Our courses are designed to meet the needs of learners at all levels, providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Our Coaches are Master's level, with years of experience in Coaching. They are passionate about their work and are committed to helping individuals achieve their full potential.
1. Emergency Preparedness:
This class focuses on teaching individuals essential skills and knowledge to handle emergency situations effectively. Topics covered include creating emergency plans, recognizing warning signs, practicing evacuation drills, and learning about emergency resources in the community. The class aims to empower individuals with the tools they need to stay safe and respond appropriately during emergencies.
2. Nutrition:
The Nutrition class caters to providing education on healthy eating habits and making informed dietary choices. Participants learn about the importance of balanced meals, portion control, food groups, and the impact of nutrition on overall health. The class may also cover special dietary considerations, including allergies and sensitivities, to promote optimal nutrition for individuals with specific needs.
3. Job Readiness:
This class equips individuals with the skills necessary to enter the workforce confidently. It covers various aspects of job readiness, such as resume building, interview skills, workplace etiquette, and professional communication. Additionally, the class may provide guidance on identifying suitable job opportunities and understanding workplace rights and accommodations.
4. Dating & Relationships:
This class focuses on developing social and emotional skills related to dating and relationships. Topics covered may include communication skills, consent, understanding boundaries, recognizing healthy and unhealthy relationships, and building self-esteem. The class aims to foster positive and fulfilling relationships while promoting self-advocacy and personal well-being.
5. Self Advocacy:
The Self Advocacy class empowers individuals to advocate for themselves effectively. Participants learn about their rights, develop self-confidence, and enhance their ability to express their needs and preferences in various settings. The class may cover topics such as assertiveness, self-determination, decision-making, and accessing support services, with the goal of promoting independence and self-empowerment.
6. Sexual Health:
This class provides comprehensive sexual health education. It covers topics such as reproductive health, consent, healthy relationships, safe sex practices, and preventing sexually transmitted infections. The class aims to promote understanding, respect, and responsible decision-making regarding sexual health while addressing specific concerns and considerations relevant to individuals with special needs.
7. Financial Literacy:
The Financial Literacy class focuses on equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for managing personal finances. Participants learn about budgeting, banking, saving, and making informed financial decisions. The class may also cover topics such as understanding credit, managing debt, and exploring employment and benefits programs. The goal is to promote financial independence and a solid foundation for long-term financial well-being.
8. Friendship Making:
This class provides individuals with strategies and social skills to establish and maintain meaningful friendships. Participants learn about effective communication, active listening, conflict resolution, and fostering positive relationships. The class may incorporate interactive activities and role-playing exercises to enhance social skills and build self-confidence in social settings.
9. Organizational Skills:
The Organizational Skills class focuses on developing strategies and techniques to improve time management, planning, and organization for individuals. Participants learn techniques for setting goals, managing tasks, maintaining schedules, and organizing personal spaces. The class aims to enhance productivity, reduce stress, and promote independence in various areas of life.
10. Emotional Awareness/Regulation:
This class helps individuals with special needs develop emotional awareness and regulation skills to effectively manage their emotions. Participants learn techniques for identifying and expressing emotions, practicing self-care, coping with stress, and developing resilience. The class may incorporate mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, and strategies for emotional self-regulation in different situations. The goal is to promote emotional well-being and enhance overall quality of life.
11. Socialization:
This class offers a deeper understanding of communication and listening in order to maintain a meaningful conversation. It includes conflict resolution, body language, empathy an social emotional intelligence, building relationships, social norms, and self esteem.
12. Computer
"Introduction to Computers" class, designed especially for individuals who are new to the world of computing. This course will empower you with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital landscape confidently.
13. Meditation and Mindset
Embark on a transformative journey with our Meditation and Mindset Classes. Learn powerful mindset techniques to enhance resilience, positivity, and build self esteem. Elevate your well-being with this harmonious blend of meditation and mindset training.
Scheduling is easy. Our Coaches are available Sunday-Saturday (9am-8pm). You create the schedule that works for you! Sessions are typically 1-4 times per week, you decide.
